Lianhe Zaobao ::

Lianhe Zaobao is the flagship and largest-circulating Chinese-language daily of Singapore Press Holdings. It is rated highly in Southeast Asia for its superior quality as a responsible, objective, fair, and credible newspaper. It also enjoys a good reputation and considerable influence in the global Chinese communities.
It has a long and illustrious history. It is the result of a merger of two newspapers, namely, the Nanyang Siang Pau (founded in 1923) and Sin Chew Jit Poh (founded in 1929). Today, in short, it is fondly known as the Lianhe Zaobao.
While upholding a multi-racial society, as a Chinese-language newspaper, it has also taken upon itself the onerous task of promoting traditional Chinese culture and values.
To keep up with rapid changing times, it is driven by the desire to innovate constantly. It strives hard to be increasingly effective in achieving its three key functions of informing, educating and entertaining its readers.
As the largest-circulating Chinese daily in Singapore, Lianhe Zaobao currently enjoys a daily readership of about 700,000 in Singapore. In addition, it is circulated in China, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Indonesia and Brunei.
